Come on then find where i said i want him out cos i havet said it once yes i think he got stuff wrong esp signings (which i stick up for him and the club due to financial readons)never said he should be sacked in fact one of my most recent posts said it wouldnt achieve much now sacking him as we have the players we have.yes if we lose our next 3 or 4.

I think it's worth remember that Milner can still do a decent job at hooker and linking up with kyle wood I think could work well, very different players. Adz has been a great servant for Cas, initially at hooker, then as a 13. Probably 2 main criticisms of his game would be penalties conceded and he never really kicked on further from 2017, doesn't make him a bad player. I still think he's got plenty of miles in the tank too and maybe a new club with perhaps another chance to step-in to the hooking roll could galvanise him.

Problem with your plan is that not that long ago in an interview Powell was talking about Cas hooker position and he actually stated that whilst Milner can fill in he doesn’t want to play there and see’s himself as a loose forward first & second these days. He ain’t going to come here to play hooker fulltime. So we don’t need him, i’d rather we used Arona there along with giving Crowther and Brad Walker new deals.

Tend to agree with this and can't really see much point in having crowther and milner in same squad, both decent players but not really starting loose forwards , second rows or hookers - suppose what we dont know is what the financial demands of each are

Yes he was the cornerstone of our pack for years and I think although he’s doing an ok job at prop we would clearly benefit from having him back at 13.

The money saved on Westerman should he decide to leave should be invested into more quality in positions we are lacking (prop/hooker/second row/outside back).

For me Westerman has been a surprise. Never doubted his ability once the over hype stopped but his attitude was questionable.

From what I se he’s been fine for us.

All the same if he left I don’t think it would harm us at all. To put it bluntly he’s to good a player for us to use properly, 18 month now and I don’t see a single Trinity player on his wavelength.

A more straightforward player like Milner I’m sad to say would probably fit into our team better, maybe even enough to turn the odd game in our favour. Who knows, shame because he could have been a star for us.

That ball loss near the end of today's cup tie would certainly fit in with our current form.

Thoroughly enjoyed both of yesterday’s cup ties, and make for cracking semi’s next month . Salford could have so easily been the team going forwards if not for silly penalties and mistakes, but Cas down to 11 men at one time dug deep for their win . Hull steamrolled Wigan with some powerful forward work laying the platform .Could it be hulls year under their new coach to take that next step and become a more consistent force in the league, certainly got the power up front . All making for an exciting year in RL ,and can’t wait for us to join the party this Fri by giving Leeds a spanking .
