Yet the player he took out ,did not take any further part in that game and is out for 4 week .That seems fair lol

Reading through the disciplinary minutes is interesting too. Compare and contrast these 2 cases:

Honestly, I don't remember either incident but superficially two identical incidents, yet only the Wakefield one is deemed worthy of a penalty???

The Connor one might not have been seen on-field but picked up by the match review panel?
Tbf, we see superficially identical incidents treated differently all the time. Its inevitable with so many subjective rules.

On the topic of bans, it never feels especially fair but unless you only have the ban count against the club that was infringed against then I don't really see any alternative.

I don't read it like that tbh. I don't remember the incidents either, but it sounds like they are saying "Crowther got penalised and that was the correct decision." Connor probably didn't get penalised, so they haven't commented on that part. It doesn't necessarily mean they don't think Connor's was worth a penalty.

It's like if a player avoids being sent off they never say, "this tackle should have been red card," but they do sometimes say "sending off sufficient" if they did see red.

I can't disagree tbh. I was also expecting 3 or 4 games tbh, so I think we've got off pretty lightly.

Ex ref Ian Smith has said because he’s got little time to give enough info to ref the video ref has reported that it could be contact to the head as a result of contact elsewhere first. However he said when looked at Saturday morning it’s a clear red.

Or it was the one when we pushed a player over the in goal area for a Hull drop out and Connor came across and was shoving one of our players (Mason I think).
