Posters on here go on about age, so is being older an impediment ? I've just been watching the Morris twins staring at 34, are they classed as too old?

I genuinely think injury history and just sheer Calibre of the player contributes to what age a player plays to effectively.World class players such as the Morris twins will still be head and shoulders above most players in their positions at 34 because they are just quality.

Being able to have watched Trinity at Wembley and win constitutes as old I think.

Age is a number, its when the body starts slowing down, taking longer to recover and generally just not doing what the mind wants is when age catches up, be it 30, 35 or in some cases 40. The issue is if you have a lot over 30 its likely you will get more of the issues above, and collectively the team will suffer. If you don't manage this you will end up in a position where a complete rebuild is required, ala Leeds

There is an adage that if you're good enough you're old enough, same in reverse, if you're good enough then you're young enough.

That winning conversion kick from the touchline by Billy Stott against Wigan at Wembley in 1946 was the best I've ever witnessed. My granddad has just agreed with me as well.

Looking like Brett Morris now has a career ending knee injury in the game for the roosters the other day, quite sad scenes watching him cry with his brother comforting him. He’s been an exceptional player, probably the best kick chaser ever with his rep and club career speaking for itself.
