Milner is currently better than Crowther by quite a bit IMO and he`s not a second rower at all, so not sure why you would even compare him to Batch, he is also better than Annakin.

Agree with that. However considering Arona is under contract for 2022 I would move him back to where he belongs as the starting 13 and cornerstone of the pack. I don’t think that Milner is a necessary signing and it’s funds that can be used in key positions we need which are mainly 2 x Hookers and a few Props (though I can’t wait to see Eseh get a shot).

Bachelor is not a hooker and is a very different player but it was the Anakin ref I didn't get. Anakin never came remotely close to being as good as Miner, not now, not ever. Crowther is the only comparison that makes any sense, however, Crowther has never really been a hooker, just a player who can make a decent fist of it. Milner has played both 9 and 13 in roughly equal measure.

It's hard to look at one player who has improved under Chester.Battue was our best player last year having not played for 6 month before he picked up the Chester bad habits.
Remember Alex walker that good player from London we signed?

To be fair Battye wasn’t our best player albeit was good. He is only 2 in from injury and Alex Walker has always had the same faults in his game even at London.
