I thought it was all there and ready to go according to minards. Now we’re still negotiating and prepared to walk away?
No, when he says walk away he means from a sub-standard deal, that doesn't mean let Yorkcourt off the hook and walk away from the project. I happen to know the leverage we have and it's pretty strong and without giving anything away the leverage is not the NM site as such.
A number of developers will lose a lot of money, certainly in the short to mid-term if they do not play ball with ourselves and more importantlyWMDC. The weak link was WMDC under Box, we now have a different leader with different agenda, let's hope they stick to their guns.
JM has always said nothing is certain until the money has been handed over, that was and still is the case. This current plan has more to it than any I have seen before but millions of pounds do not fall off trees. Planning permission, by the way, is not the same as funding, I'm not saying you didn't know that but I'm not sure some do.
