I think we all are fed up with the doom and gloom, and would think those inside the club are too.

Maybe MC has had enough, and has done all that he can.

Although the future would be uncertain, maybe a change at the top could be what's needed right now, and players and coaching staff at the club may feel that the shackles are off somewhat.

Remember, no one person is bigger than the club, regardless of who they are.

Yes, he did save us, and we stayed up on a much reduced budget, but that's also partly down to the players and coaches too from that time.

It could have just been a stay of execution for us.

Considering he said he’d see the stadium proposal through I shouldn’t think he means to leave right now.

MC is just a human being, give him a good run of results and some positives on the ground and he will want to be at BV forever. Not least because people like luppy and scarlet will have been silenced.

That’s how life is, being a moaner offers instant gratification but sticking to it and winning in the long term, that’s where the real joy is.

That’s how I see it.

Energy levels should be up as that's all they did in pre-season was fitness!

What would a Cockney know about rugby league?

I think as the games have gone in the fitness and conditioning has clearly improved. We’re not seeing the forwards picking up contact injuries as last year. So credit where that is due. Think our squad is weak and as a result we’ll lose more often that not this year - that’s the reality at the moment.

The thing is doom and glooms become the norm.
8 know the club and Chester in particular will keep banging the drum about how the players are positive and all in it together but it can do nothing for moral. It's like a big negative cloak around the place at the moment and it's got to change.

Slightly OT, I do think we suffer from not playing in front of fans. I think on less driven players it makes a huge difference when the fans get behind the team. Whereas players like Roby I honestly believe would play at 100% in a vacuum, it's what makes them great.

We shall soon find out

And yet this is the year we are rumoured to be trying to get a new head of strength & conditioning for next season!

I’m sure we will lose more games than we win this season ,but if the games we lose are full of effort and commitment and we play for the full eighty ,no one can surely ask for anymore . I still bang on that what we have seen so far this season isn’t the finished article by a long way ,when those balls stick and those passes/kicks come off and they get a few wins under their belts I’m sure we will see a very different team .
