My understanding is that if that happened, it would risk what we can do next time as the rule is home fans only.
It's not worth it for a couple of hundred tickets. We ought to be able to sell to our own.

It's not a government or local authoity rule, it's a policy by the individual clubs. Away fans are allowed, hence why there was some Hull KR fans at Cas last night. It was confirmed by Cas' ticketing manager to a HKR fan who shared the email on twitter.

There's no way of knowing who is a home fan and who is an away fan, unless they turn up decked out in club colours.

Fair enough, I didn't know that.
Get them in then.

Still disappointed we couldn't get more of our own though.

Yeah that is really sad that for the first home game with fans for 14 months (??), that we can't even persuade 3600 people to come back, but I guess it is a true reflection of where we are :( :(

if you hear a shout of "Gerrem on saard" on Sunday throw 'em out they'll be from Hull. Or ask them to say "phone", if they say "Fern" they're from Hull.

To be fair though some won’t come because of Covid still, It’s not been easy to get tickets for some people who live further away and also let’s be blunt we’ve been crap for two years. That said I do agree really it is quite sad

If you go by people on here then there's an easy way. Anyone who doesn't look depressed is probably not a Wakey fan!!!!

Fair point, don't sell a ticket to anyone who has a smile on their face as they clearly support a team who can beat Cas.

https://wakefieldtrinity.com/blog/2021/ ... ters-faqs/

The club site has just been updated with FAQ's but it incorrectly implies that season ticket holders need another ticket to get in. I have just phoned the club shop and they have confirmed that season ticket holders who are booked in DO NOT need another ticket, and they are rectifying this on the website.
