I think that proves he can play against the “misters” needed to stand out in a league one game and certainly did, played well made plenty of post contact metres, quick plays of the ball scored a couple of try’s, made a couple of crucial tackles and got donny out of trouble a couple of times. Topped off with MOM from Paul Cooke who couldn’t stop talking about him all game :thumb:

Not sure if hes ready for sl but i got some other week for saying he should be given a chance although not a winger he could be better than 2 currently playing (can play reece on wing) so im glad hes gone well thought he looked good v dewsbury and how does any one know hes ready without getting a chance

played out of position in a team he's trained with the 4 times and was a stand out performer in his first game in over 14 months (with the exception of half an hour against Dewsbury in a pre-season friendly) I think he's answered that question for sure. :thumb:

Chuffed for him and for you FT.
Out of interest what position did he play?

He started on the wing, looked to move into centre a bit later

Scored a hat trick today 7 tries in 5 games now not bad considering he’s out of position. :thumb:

Is he a centre? Doing well and his spell at Donny will only do him good.

IMO he’s a second rower, but he came through the academy and reserves played as a centre, donny have been playing him on the wing, but I’m not a coach so what do I know

I understand one of the reasons he came to Doncaster was to get some game time against men, rather than kids in academy teams etc. On Sunday he was playing against Patrick Ahvan (admittedly old but still a big guy) all game and finished on top pretty much every time

That sounds very positive.

I can now only assume we will let him go at the end of the season and sign an ageing Cas player :CURTAIN:
