Well, the jury is still out on the nuts thing :)
But you are right that it was originally a short term solution that became more beneficial as time went on.
It's not bad in there. I wouldn't rush to replace compared to the rest but it will be nice to have that level of hospitality within a good quality stand.

I agree - perhaps offer cheaper hospitality in the flats and hopefully when the other stand is built, be able to charge more of a premium.

Every little helps with the revenue knowing Lord Carts like I do :-)

They were only temporary as I recall,Mary, and did we not default on the payment for them? I think we were told to "Keep 'em" in the end as they would be too expensive to take away.

I seem to recall that was the year we went bust. I think we came to an agreement with the company that owned the flats. It was CVA, we agreed to pay some small percentage in the £, as you say, the company decided it wasn’t worth the cost of removing the flats, it would have been morel than the monies recovered from Trinity.

We did default on them as they became part of the CVA by agreement. I think we paid 10p in the pound as terms so they paid 100k instead of the million pounds they should have cost.

I suppose it shows just what high margins the supplier was working on for them to accept a 90% hit but they did.

I believe the supplier had no claim against the club as Pearman bought them himself so it was to the benefit of both that a deal was done. Something like that anyway.

Been past the ground a few times today and it looks like they have completed the floodlight in the Northeast corner but none of the others yet.
