Covid Postponements : Sat Jul 10, 2021 3:50 pm  

The number of games being called off are now increasing every week and will get worse probably until the 16/08 or maybe longer. The game I know are using a percentage system however they must insist that all clubs play a minimum number if they are not able to complete the season. This also produces problems because how do you allow for the quality of the opposition for any games a team cannot accommodate.
I don’t envy them with the problems coming down the track. They could say no relegation with the promotion of a championship club but that will be without funding because I could not see the current SL teams giving up any of their reduced Sky money.
The decision day is coming and I hope they have a plan.

Some clubs are clearly just taking the urine though. If Wakefield, supposedly a tinpot club to the opposition fans, can soldier on what does that make the likes of Leeds and Hull KR?

The club's have to play a certain amount of games to get into the play offs I think they stated 18

Is it then possible, if some teams finishing in the top six, who haven’t played 18 games, forfeit their position to a team outside the top six who have played 18 games or more, or haven’t the game’s rulers thought that far ahead.

and Hull and Warrington. It's strange that they just manage to get to 7 players covid 'out'.

Teams can plan to use the covid excuse when there playing the hard games Think we should be proud that Wakey are playing by the rules ,but is it doing us any good ? We were down to ourlast 17 players last night .We have got Salford next week ,did they bend the rules when they were suppose to play us, so they could put a much stronger team out against us next week .Gess we will never know

Dont see how relagation can happen if teams dont play all games the percentage thing is wrong
