The U.K. government will be deciding within the next few days, whether to put France onto the Red travel list. Everyone returning from France would have a mandatory 10 day quarantine costing thousands of pounds.

Catalans probably playing their last home game of the season tonight.
How are the outcomes sorted if the U.K teams are unable to travel there, Trinity are due there in less than 2 weeks, according o our fixtures list.

I thought that elite sport was exempt from the quarantine rules ?

"High-value business travellers, sports stars and professional performing artists will not have to quarantine upon returning to England. Journalists and TV production staff will also benefit from the new policy announced by Transport Secretary Grant Shapps"

It could affect Toulouse though ?

The way Catalan are playing maybe we should not raise a team and only lose 24 - 0 which would be a bonus

It's not the loss that would get me, which is a given at the moment, more the possibility of injuries or covid issues.

Way more chance of covid over here or, haven't you seen the news ?
Mind you, it would save us a few bob if we "could do a Salford"

For comparison, France currently have around 4000 new cases per day and the UK around 50,000. and this is before the remaining restrictions disappear on Monday.

We do always seem to pick up a couple of injuries when we play Catalan but, I dont think we can dodge the game on that basis.

I am not even getting to the Covid issues. I am just not of a mindset to waste money watching dross.

You'll be ok, I dont think there is a way of Trinity fans attending the game.
Taking a 24 - 0 would be a good result all round - it wont cost much, 24 - 0 is probably better than we will manage if we play, no added covid issues (apart from those picked up locally) and another week to try and get some players back to fitness. win/win

Is this match scheduled for Sky or is like last season where we had to settle for highlights only.

The Catalan TV deal was short term and has finished now, still talking about an extension I believe.
The Our League Access for Season Ticket holders has also now finished apparently
