Because if they don’t they won’t be perfectly healthy for long. You do understand how vaccines work? When you got vaccinated against polio as a kid it wasn’t because you were unhealthy, it was to make sure you never got it, that’s the same with the Covid jab. Covid enters your system but as you’ve been jabbed you already have anti bodies so in most cases it doesn’t progress. Being healthy is no guarantee that you will produce anti bodies in time.

I’d apologise for nothing I’ve been vaccinated to go on holiday, end of, I’ve also had covid along with my wife and two of my kids. If you’ve had the vaccine you’ve protected yourself so don’t put it on others it’s there fault when they don’t want an experimental drug. Athletes are fit I’m fit and didn’t need it but to go on holiday, this is turning into the biggest con ever.all the hoity toity at royal ascot, Wimbledon, the euros, 140000 unmasked at silverstone, people at the cricket, people driving to test their eye site, Matt Hancock shagging in the office. I’ve done my bit I’ve lost one friend and nearly lost two more both on ventilators for weeks but we want to inject healthy athletes and club goers. Let’s add to this government not closing the borders and people coming over the Chanel. The people of this country have done more than enough and been treated like utter crap. We are now forcing things on people. People fought for our freedoms and they will only return when we fight for them back

UK PM Boris Johnson says that after all over-18s have had the chance to get both Covid jabs, full vaccination will be required for entry into "nightclubs and other [i]venues where large crowds gather"[/i]

Should be ok without full vaccinations going to the game at Huddersfield versus the Giants then. (awaits flak from Giants supporters )

Just a few days ago, SL bosses threatened to bring out the big stick if clubs messed around and abused the Covid protocols and causing postponements. Let’s see if they back up those words, with deeds.

Some people still don't get it, after the 16th Aug, only repeat only double jabbed people will not have to self isolate, that means no missed matches except illness so there is a better chance of a full team !!!!!

Looks like Castleford will be resting their squad again this week by refusing to play away at Catalan for whatever reason. They may lose 2 points and a 24 v 0 defeat which is probably better than if they actually play and will have a fit squad available for their next 2 games against Leigh and Huddersfield. Come the end of the season how can the league table be taken seriously when certain clubs are picking and choosing who they want to and don't want to play.

We get it. Think people are more bothered about how clubs are exploiting the current rules now.

I'd suggest a lot of players still won't be two weeks clear of their second jabs by the 16th August so they'd still have to isolate if pinged.
