Hopefully the Salford postponement (again!!) will help us with the Huddersfield game.
However, the situation regarding fixtures has become an utter bloody farce.

Is the postponement another covid contacts situation or, have they got another reason.
Should these clubs be learning from their past postponements or are they just going to carry on having every other fixture postponed ?

Would have been better the other way round .. Catalan off but no ….. what happened to penalties for clubs calling off games .? Disgrace … how this season can be judged in any way fair is beyond me …

I think questions need to be asked why there’s so many stood down. 12 squad players and 5 staff members....

What are they doing literally spending their whole training huddled in a big scrum for the duration. In contrast wakey have a positive and 1 resultant stand down.

Now is it because we are following guidelines such as bubbles/precautions to limit the impact or do Salford not have any risk mitigation in place.

17 members in total of staff and players is quite frankly excessive especially after a recent string of cases around 4 weeks ago.

Doubt the Salford game will ever be played now, they’ve two others to fit in before ours. If that’s the case it’s one home games income we lose. The season is now officially a farce and whatever convoluted idea they come up with to tick a few boxes and ‘finish’ the season it’s going to look embarrassingly bad.

Surely it's up to Wakefield to propose a couple of dates and for Salford to accept one.

The game is approaching one huge embarrassment which is Magic Weekend. I doubt those who have bought tickets and Sky would be happy to see games postponed. This is the most important weekend to highlight the game and can you imagine the negative publicity any teams not fulfilling their fixture.
The automatic requirement to self isolate will have been removed but I suppose it then depends on how many of the squad members have received both vaccinations.
Interesting times ahead.
