Chester couldn't motivate a FART : Sun Aug 08, 2021 8:04 pm
Completely slated the middles well Chris Green is your signing. We cannot continue like this.
Enough is enough I wanted it to work your a wakey lad but I turn his interviews off after 5 seconds so boring zzz.
If that has the effects on me imagine the team.

BRIAN McDermott in tomorrow eastmoor/ wakey lad time for a change.
I would even have Kear back tomorrow.

We have a losers mentality and LOSING is now becoming acceptable

Need a new Captain as well, hands-on-hips Miller isn’t cutting it

That game was summed up for me yesterday when fifita on one of his usual walk ups with ball in hand tried batting off a little Hudds player half his size who soundly put him on his arris . No heart ,no passion ,no desire ,and not just him but the team as a whole .We looked world beaters whilst they had 12 men on the field ,then reverted back to headless chickens with no idea whatsoever how to break down the opposition. This team we played wasn’t the wires or saints it was a scratch Hudds side who we should have brushed aside and put to the sword ,well we did for all of 10-15 mins then got a lesson in how to break down your opponent’s.It’s sad when you know the outcome of a game when it’s still got 30 mins left to play ,but that is happening far too often these days .

we were coasting that game yesterday for 20 minutes, kicking well forcing mistakes and drop outs then bang a total change of tactics. We forced a drop out they kicked it long and fafita and Miller made a complete mess of it they then pinned us back. Miller takes over kicking duties and finds the man every time, then we played to his side nearly all the game when their weakness was the other side which we had success on. The 2nd half was some of the worst stuff I’ve ever seen, simple game made look complicated

Brain McDerrmott is/was Chris Chester but had the luxury of Sinfield, Peacock, Maguire, Burrow et al to get him out of a hole. When they all went Leeds were relegation fodder.

I seem to recall him coaching two seasons without the golden generation, one where they finished in the bottom four with us and topped the relegation group and the other where they won the grand final. I’m sorry sir but Brian McDermott has never been, will never be nor is Chris Chester.

You mean the season when Maguire and Burrow retired? The season they got walloped 66 something against Cas. Credit to them they won SL with a late push but for much of the season yhe Leeds fans were pretty much saying the same thins as Trinity fans are about Chester. No game plan, no structure, relying on older players. Leeds had better players, bigger resource yet they are still recovering from his tenure. The players he had well and truly covered up his averageness.

I think after that GF win (with the huge sentimental drive they had that year) they were back down fighting in the middle 8's again.
