Wakey still have issues with the players, they are probably still on sage cuts re - covid & reduced furlough monies. The club are openly negotiating new contracts players probably on higher money & set to replace some of them. Some will not get a contract due to player cuts re - smaller squad, some will not be retained therefore making room for more new players !
So, can any coach get them to bust a gut to win matches, not an easy situation to get positivity & therefore results this season ?
We are still in a tricky situation whoever is the new coach !
Personally, I would like a coach who first gets them super fit & able to play 80 mins at the speed of the top four, learn to be tactically aware able to change tactics on field in play. Also a coach who can transpose our academy players into first framers & trust them !
As per Huddersfield, youngsters naieve but make up by speed & fitnes, some times, some matches.
We need to be a full professional club with new protocols, those not wanting to do/carry out these protocols should be cleared out,
Breaking their contract etc.
Be mean on protocols, keep them kean.

I don’t think any will still be on furlough they should all be back on their existing contracts.

Your back I thought you had left us, I have said my only gripe was the fact that they intended to give him an extension and I thought it would be to the detriment of the club and our future in super league. I am glad but amazed they have realised this and the cost to the club’s finances.

It was my only gripe but you can add now that they have agreed to pay his unsigned new contract which will be a loss to the footballing side of the budget. This is a first for me but I suppose you think it was the correct thing to do.
PT did you ever find that post match interview after we lose where he criticised himself.
