James Deighton on Radio Leeds last night said that interviews had finished on Monday and the remain8ng candidates were Poching, McDermott, Danny Ward and Andrew Henderson. JD said that he had heard that Henderson had particularly impressed the panel!! You would have to think that Willie is favourite at the moment. Me and the lads I go to rugby with were happy with all the candidates except McDermott.

And WP will know that’s the ethos at the club. If McDermott gets the gig I fear for you. He hasn’t shown he’s able to coach without the big name players and facilities, with a large backroom to help him- things teams like wakey and hudds don’t have.

Why so much interest Jools, you dislike the Wakey club and have said so on a number of occasions.
Head coaches come and go but at Wakey they get more than a fair crack of the whip.

I just cant see that we won't give the gig to Poching given his results as caretaker. Would be a bold move at this point. Personally i'm always wary of promoting from within, I don't know why just a feeling, but Poching could hardly have done much more could he

Perversely it's good that there have been some losses in his run, to see how the team reacts afterwards. So far its it's tick.

Only my opinion but, how the hel can we consider Henderson, he may have had the gab & come across well, but, so did Mr Agar, Talk the talk !
He is not in the same street of quality as the other three,
But then, he will be cheaper than the other 3 - probably, we wont get Mc Dermott, he would want a good wage !
This could go massively poor - big time, however, I hope not !
WP or Mac for me, up the Trin.

So you would have someone who dislikes our club
Makes alot of sense, and what do you know of Hendersons credentials ? That would rule him out.

Good call mate, I’d suggest Jools should go and continue the borefest on the Shuds site but they’ve already cleared off and left her to it!

I’d be surprised if Willie doesn’t get the gig, but I had read previously how highly rated Henderson is in the game. I’m with you and your mates though, anyone but McDermott!
