The RFL Board has approved three changes to the Laws to apply for the 2022 season which were recommended by the Laws Committee: the return of scrums; the scrapping of the ball steal rule; and a requirement for injured players to be removed from the field of play for treatment.

Hull should get less injuries then . I really can't see the point of scrums anymore though.

Scrums, especially compared to Union, have been poor for decades but, there has to be some necessary breaks in play and something just to offer a difference in the endless sets of 6 and play the balls.
Even totally uncontested scrums are better than just more of the same.

The players and officials need an occasional break in play.

The speed of the game is dictated by player fitness and the drive to try and make it quicker and quicker is doing nothing for the spectacle of RL.

They are good for setting moves/set plays i get you with regards where the ball goes in but im glad there coming back it will also give the forwards a bit longer to get a bit off puff back
