Yes think we can all agree we where shocking today and whilst i still think we got issues
There is some positives still there.
1,today was a friendley nothing more nothing less and while we where poor like really we got a perfect try chalked off and even the fev fans where saying koppy lost the ball added to a lucky try from a charge down we could of won.
2,a defeat and bad performance can be a blessing in disguise i havent heard what poaching press confrence was like if he did one but im sure him and the rest of the staff wont be happy witn that and think the lads could be in for a tough 3 weeks do maybe its better to lose norrowley and know we have to improve rather than win and think all tisey.
3,was it 2017 or 2018 when we played fev in friendley couple of weeks before season started got beat played poorly but went on to have a great season.
4,for all the bad performances from players we know that can do better there as veen some good performances from players like hall that we didnt know about.

I know its not much to go on but its somthing ...

There were no positives today for me. We were appalling from start to finish. Everyone on here has been saying how strong the squad is, but sorry, I just don’t see it. I think we look low on quality and low on depth. The result is irrelevant, but the lack of fitness and enthusiasm was a concern. Three weeks now to put it right.

Tbf I think a lot of fans have the right to be pee’d of with that performance and be a tad worried, friendly or not friendly. It was a very unprofessional performance against part time players, said players that are grafting in trades etc while our boys are training. I was livid leaving the ground.

It was a friendly. Players are at different stages of preparations.
Let's judge them when the season starts.

Who cares , presumably the fans that turned up payed their hard earned cash to watch a team get dismantled by supposedly over the hill super league players . Friendly or not I would have expected as this is our last hit out before we are up against the big boys to at least showed much more effort and commitment if not for themselves but for the fans . For me Fifita, hall , Batch , Johnstone put a shift in , the rest need to step up and show some pride in their performance.IMO simply not good enough at any level and certainly not what the fans went to see .

Not really, it was a poor performance. I feel like I’ve just stated the obvious, the score line doesn’t lie against semi pro opposition when we have a near full strength team out who were dominated in nearly every department, most worryingly by a aged forward pack. Anyway, I’ve not once stated that’s our season done etc, hopefully we’ll be better for the start of the season against hull, but for our last hit out it was poor.

Disappointing performance. For whatever reason we have that in us don't know why, but we've had it in us for years. WP's challenge is get shut of it.
