He’s slowly winning me round. To say I was underwhelmed by his first few games would be an understatement. I still think he’s pretty average, but, he is getting better in every game. Injuries permitting by next season he may be above average and that I do want to see.

I don’t want to jinx him but he’s solid and direct but what makes him stand out for me is that he seems pretty unflappable. Almost unique in a team of panicked players.

To be good a team needs reliable players as well as flash ones and he looks to me to be in the Ashurst mould for that.

Worth another deal I reckon.

I don't know where to find match stats but he certainly appeared to make good metres with every carry.

I thought he was outstanding at what he does.
He isn't Dave but he makes hard yards andvdoesnt make mistakes. He's just what we need.
He definitely gets a contract for me.

He’s a solid performer week in week out. Not flash but does the tough stuff in the middle. He’s still fairly young I think at 24 with his best years ahead of him.

He reminds me some what of Stosic , in so far as he’s not the biggest but drives the ball in well ,and puts a shift in on the tackling front .Whereas big Dave by his own admission likes to run a line and not head on ,whitbread runs straight n hard and makes good ground, it’s taken a while but he seems to be finding his feet and all we need now Is Butler coming good and we don’t have a bad pack .

17 carries for 118 Metres according to SL website. Also 35 tackles and 3 misses

Arona did 17 carries for 137 Metres, Fifita 22 carries for 151 Metres

That’s some impressive stats from those 3. Fair play to them. We didn’t seem to struggle making headway forward vs hull. More of the same please.

Not really, though I'm not sure how long he was on the pitch.

14 tackles. One miss.
4 drives with average 10 metre gain.

The stats aren't bad. Just not enough involvement. But that could be that we hold him back on the bench.
