Whitbread for me would be first to tie down. About to hit his best years and he’s a real workhorse with a huge engine in attack and defence. Technically I think he’s good too always landing on his front. He’d be a good long term signing for the engine room.
Fifita - I think he’s worth another year yes… but I think he wants to play 2023 with his brother next year. If his brother is willing to come over to trinity for a reasonable salary I’d consider it but it’s not worth breaking the bank for. If it’s just a case of Dave then yes I’d like to see him stay another year. We absolutely need to start finding the next David Fifita though. If Dave doesn’t sign we must invest in a strong prop to lead the pack.
Aydin - I’m not sure on him. Can’t seem to get much game time either Sheffield or trinity. When he played vs wire he got stepped by a forward and left a gap size of a bus.
Shaw - I’m not sure on him either as not seen enough but imho I think he just needs to mature and full out some size a bit. I do like his running style having no fear.
