This world was never meant for one as beautiful as me.

WTRLC 2012 to 2014 "The wasted years"

Magic Weekend "Whipping Boys" 2013, 2014 & 2015

2017 - The year the dream disappeared under Grix's right foot.

2018 - The FinniChezz Bromance

2019 - The return of the Prodigal Son.

2020 - Keeping the faith.

Our Fev loanees (spoiler) : Sat Jul 30, 2022 10:11 pm
Well Leigh look nailed on to be promoted after trouncing Fev again.

Thought Eseh had a good game again although I thought his spell was short. Try scored off one of his offloads then bagged a super try of his own.

Lineham didn't really impress but was opposite Ferguson. Needs to up his game if we're hoping Fev might take him permanently. Wonder if they can afford a 2nd big spending season?

Quite impressed with Eseh's contribution.

Lineham. Yes he was against Ferguson but nothing he did made me think he's a super league player.

Didn’t think Lineham was too bad except for the silly offload. He went okay.

As for Eseh. Every time I’ve seen him play he looks good. Yes he only has 25/30 minutes or so but he’s still only 18 I think. I’ve no doubt he will be in our 17 next season after a few more championship games and another full offseason. Lad is strong and has a nice offload game after contact.

Don’t think he will be in the 17 on a regular basis but he will possibly play.

I think it’s an obvious sign that he’s earmarked for first team as soon as possible. The club are showing this by sending him to Fev who along with Leigh are about as good as you can get outside SL. We have missed a few stepping stones with this lad and accelerated his growth. He will learn far more where he is than anything he would with us at present.

If he continues as he is and has the right attitude 2024 will be his breakout season and at 21 that’s young for a forward.

Great for us because that’s when Aydin should peak if we keep him and Shaw will come on line.

It’s 100% the right move for his development this loan arrangement. He’s almost got 20 games under his belt now this year. That’s invaluable playing against men.

You may be right and we may see him play a bit part next year but he’s definitely one for the future.

I was hoping Shaw would get plenty of opportunity at Sheffield but for some reason he hasn’t been selected.

Every time is see Eseh play he looks better
Defo a sl player for us in the making there

I think linehams contribution to our first team was utterly terrible
The way he gushed over going to play under Brian McDermott was utterly embarrassing too

Lineham was one of our better signings on paper but the lack of effort and his attitude were terrible,

Kershaw with barely a season under his belt is twice the player and has made a massive contribution since he came back from injury

Another appalling Chester signing and for 3 seasons too!
Please stay at Fev Tom, not a player I want to see in our colours again

Looks overweight slow and a terrible signing, agree re Esseh and looks significantly fitter than he did in the first couple of games at fev. In Eseh and Murphy we look to have two potential real stars for the future developed by our junior set up.

Have also been really impressed with Shaw, and obviously hall (although he didn’t start as one of our juniors)

I’m sure some will disagree but nothing makes a player fitter than real game time, not even close.

He’s at a good team surrounded by decent players. Better still he’s being coached by imho a not very good coach. I’m yet to be totally convinced by WP but I’ve long considered McDermott to be a poor coach. Might sound perverse but if you can survive a bad coach then you will thrive under a good one, think it makes you grow up and appreciate.

Correct me if I’m wrong but isn’t Hall one of our juniors? I thought he came through or was part of the trinity academy and got signed by Wigan on a full time contract then Leeds and back to us.

Have I just imagined that? I’m sure I did read that somewhere. If true he is one of ours.
