Super League can confirm the broadcast selections for Round 25.
As we build to the climax of the 2022 Betfred Super League season, fans will be able to watch three live games on Sky Sports in Round 25.
The round will kick-off on Wednesday 24 August when play-off chasing Leeds Rhinos host Huddersfield Giants (8pm KO).
The following night Toulouse, who face Catalans Dragons in a French Derby, will look to stave off the threat of relegation. In addition to this, Wakefield Trinity have kindly agreed to move their kick-off time against Hull KR 15 minutes earlier so both games start at the same time. This will allow fans to follow these two games as the drama unfolds.
Friday night’s live action sees a top of the table clash as fierce rivals Wigan Warriors and St Helens go head-to-head at the DW Stadium.
Will there be a big screen at the ground so we can watch the drama in France while watching our live game
I remember a last day relegation, Trinity or Giants, when we had to beat Salford at the Willows and Giants had to win their game (I’ve forgotten who they played). We beat Salford after being behind and Bobbie Goulding sent off, Giants lost their match, The Giants game was on sky, but transmission often cut to our game, to show the “Drama”.
I think Trinity ought to get extra payment from Sky for providing years of relegation drama for hem to broadcast.
Does anyone else think Sky and it’s commentary team just long for that day of Drama.
