The 'significant signing' could be an assistant coach

Quite possible, although I’m not one who normally speculates  , I’ve noticed the name Danny Orr mentioned a couple of times.

I think Bussey would be a good signing as would Ben Nakubuwai who is off contract at Leigh.

I’d certainly be happy with Nakubwaii and then an experienced forward from NRL. That would sort the forwards. I’m happy with Bowden and Whitbread as starting props and then we have Butler, Eseh and Battye.

Interested to see what happens with Shaw and Croft. I hope to see both extend their stay at trinity.

I wonder if anything’s happening with AJ from Bradford. Weren’t we a club linked with him? Then again we do have Windrow who needs to step up this season.

Isn't the significant signing York's ex coach Ford as your assistant coach?

No Idea if either are stopping tbh, but if Shaw leaves it might dispel the IMO daft belief that players would have stopped if Mash were in charge.

Shaw in particular is Applegarth prodigy so this should test his pulling power, that and £ notes.
