Anyone go to the Sam Obst podcast thing tonight.it was really good.
Interesting to listen to Obst as he's clearly an intelligent guy who can talk well. The part where he talked about Adam and Leon was quite moving.

But also Mash came in for the second half of the interview. I wasn't impressed with what happened to Poching but that's the sporting life as a coach, but listening to Mash talk for an hour, I think we are in good hands. I'm looking forward to seeing what he can do with this team.

Yes I went PT, I never knew his earlier playing days saw him playing in the same team with some of the Australian greats. Yes the tragic deaths of Adam and Leon are still with him, the part he said as Leon was taken to hospital “Look after himAdam”
Sam also looks well, he hasn’t aged much still easy to recognise.

Really enjoyed the evening. Sam spoke about his early rugby career and currently assistant coach in Australia.

I was surprised by the guy who argued that the Adam Watene trophy was between us and Leeds.
Apart from the fact there were some very knowledgeable people in the room talking about it, including Sam, why would you shout that out?

I didn’t see who made that comment, perhaps someone did have a quiet word with the person after the meeting. If it was anyone on here, perhaps they could tell us how they got it wrong.

The guy was sat a few seats from me. Seemed quite insistent it was Leeds and not Cas.
