well said ketty, my only worry now is that when everybodys fit, hood and tafua, lino come straight in and the play and desire gets back to being pedestrian.Although the players today even in strange positions, dug in with belief and desire and the ball speed was quicker from bowes, who should start now. It seemed to back up many posters views that some players are too slow for superleague.
Exactly this Tally.
The worst thing that can happen is that Hood is auto selected in 2 weeks. The second worst thing is Taufua is selected.
Kersh was utilitarian but perfect yesterday for the slog. Ate the metres up. The French lad looked like he had been playing Super League a while. Positionally he was on it.
And Lino? What an enigma. There is a time and place for Mason but it is not a slog to the death in this team. I said it on another post. Ashurst knew what Smith was doing yesterday, because I’m guessing it’s what they did all last week in training.
Lino just keeps everyone guessing and we can’t afford that. Bags of talent, but wrong team at this moment in time.
