Yet some people still think it was a mistake to get rid of Kear

I agree massive mistake leaving your club.The only positive will be his autobiography sales I guess

i feel it's partly down to the play off system & where clubs & coaches feel they have the most benefit ( position wise ). i:e as long as you hit the eight (and aim for the position you feel will benefit the club most , tie wise )it could reap the the best financial reward without getting to the final !!



. especially when you know as a club you are not capable of reaching old trafford anyway !! . might seem far fetched , but plausible !! .

hence the recent win a few , throw a few scenario that seems to be cropping up among the 4-8 positions .
