I can only apologise for the in-breds that were goading the bus last night. I was walking past as it happened & I'd happily have stood & watched while Hull fans got off & gave them a good kicking. FWiW, they're like that every week & I had a pop at them the other week for getting on our own players backs With a bit of luck someone will give them a bit of a slap at some point this season & they'll disappear for good, in which case they won't be missed!

Back to the parking situation I feel for anyone having to put up with that. New ground, same shambolic organisation throughout the club. Seems like we've taken a lot of the incompetent staff from the Willows when we should've been clearing the decks & starting afresh.

Excellent support from your guys last night . Regarding our poor numbers, we've never been the best supported club but we lost a lot of fans during the McRae era and it'll take time to win them back. The rugby we played at that time was dire & big credit has to go to Veivers & Long & even though we'll lose plenty of games this year we'll do it playing some exciting rugby.

Anyhow, good luck for the rest of the season guys & I look forward to visiting the KC later in the year.

We parked at The Unicorn 20 mins from the ground home by 11.40

FWIW i was surprised at how much of a dive the surrounding areas were, looked like they moved in 6 months early.

Parked at Eccles rugby ground and got in and out great, just £3 aswell.

Park and ride was hard to find from the trafford centre though, one small sign hidden behind a tree. Think in the future you should just be able to buy tickets on the turnstiles rather than queuing at a ticket office first.

Same. Came with a Salford fan from Leeds who brought a minibus full of Chinese boarding school kids down for the game. Very random group to tag along with!

5,200 seemed about right for the crowd. Ground holds 12k. I'd say 5k for the big stand (about half full), 3k for the closed stand, and 2k behind each set of posts (Salford end half full, Hull end 3/4 full). 2.5k + 1k + 1.5k = 5k, give or take a few hundred.
