Great to see the photos of the old place but Jesus!!! the pictures from the police report in 1978 are frightening. That was around the time my dad first started taking me, how unsafe does it look by todays standards. I know a lot of improvemnets were made in 1981 but thank god for the Taylor report.

Fantastic photos on there which bring back many happy memories from childhood. It's upsetting to see the Boulevard in its run down state but I love the photo taken from the old Boulevard pitch I think which shows the impressive KC in the background. Also the police report from 78 is an eye opener.

I can still smell the acrid smoke bellowing from the Threepenny rafters as the Rovers scarf was set ablaze and everyone in the stand cheering loudly safe in the hope that the threepenny would not catch fire because of the 60 gallon of urine that got sprayed beneath it every home game.

That is more to my liking Hutchie as I don't do facebook....

The 78 photo's bring back a lot of memories of playing in the ground as a kid. We always were messing about on the speedway tractor.
