You can't say when we win the players do it in spite of him and then it's his fault when we lose. Radford got the recruitment right those couple of years where he has got it wrong is not freshening up the squad which has become stale.

We have money just not an endless pot like Warrington for example.

If you really think the cup win and run was down to 4 players you really know little about sport and rugby.

Who signed the players, who picked the team, I know you won't have been there, but some contributions from players in other rounds in 2016 nad 17 like Taylor at Saints away, Houghton's tackle, Kelly at Leeds semi in 2017.

Conditioning staff to help us hold on in the semi at Wigan when under the kosh.

Ellis and Watts were here well before 2016, both played in the 2013 final for example, how come we didn't win that one?

Maybe it was all down to Fonua.

Absolutely clueless.

To be honest there are opinions on here I listen to
Yours isn’t one of them

You’ve already demonstrated you make things up on the spot to suit
whatever point you’re trying to make.

It's a fai challenge. If we win it's down to the players. If we lose it's down to Radford. Makes no sense.

Of course, in other words you have no response.

Hull are no different to most of the teams in the league barring Saints and Warrington who have found what all the other teams are striving for, consistency.
Most teams are capable of putting one or two good performances in and then put in a stinker, i dont know if its a coaching issue or an attitude issue but as a team Hull arent the only team struggling to solve it, there's nine other teams in the same boat.

It's not the losing,it's the manner of defeats, no other team including London have had defeats like we have, 3 defeats over 50 points, there is something with the mentality of the players when we go a few scores down.

Think Ellis has misses all 3 games.

So it is a players mentality issue then and not the coach in your opinion?

At Rovers weve lost numerous games when we've had winable leads so that puts us in the same bracket as Hull searching for that consistency.
Is player mentality something that can be coached? Weve got grand final winners and NRL grand final winners in our team but still dont seem to have enough leadership to be mentally strong enough to be consistently competitive.

I aren't. The post you quoted had two things in it, I was just clarifying which one you were referring to.

Radford has done a lot of good things. He absolutely deserves his share of credit for the cup wins, and he equally can't take all of the blame for the bad performances. But imo there is a real attitude problem at the club, and he doesn't seem capable of sorting it out. To just shrug off performances like that is an insult to the fans.

Has to both IMO.

Just a thought, weve seen how when Ellis takes to the field we rarely suffer the drubbings, does he not allow his team mates to slack off, or have a crap attitude?

And im wondering if Ellis was head coach would the players dare put in performances like the Huddersfield one?
