Talk on the Leeds board of us making a play for O'Connor. We could guarantee him the 9 shirt for next season. Guess Leeds would want a significant fee for him.

Or a swap deal with Hardaker.

Could see Sutcliffe moving into the back row, and a strike centre Tesi Niu for example, coming in

FFS our fans are just infuriating and are the biggest set of Hypocrites!!!! YES Hardaker off field hasn't covered himself in glory at all i think its fair to say that but hes a WINNER on the field and still plays at a high level and was less than a yar ago lifting the CC Trophy, In addition to that he stays fit!! 24 games played last year which will more than likely be more than Carlos has played across past 3 seasons! In regards of some of our fans being Hypocrites... Did we not support and love Stevie Michaels?? Last time i checked he was done for drug dealing in aus and was always on the bag when he came over... did anyone bat an eyelid? NO did it affect our team on the field? NO did he play well in big games for us? YES. Every club has players that have off field issues at some point in time (Minchella anyone?), as long as we can keep him fit and firing then its a great signing, hes loved by other players as on the field hes everything you need in a professional. GET A GRIP!! This is one of the most exciting periods for a few years with potentially some big big signings to follow so stop bloody moaning!!!!!!

The game is full of players who have made mistakes but have learned their lesson. Problem with Hardaker is that he's transgressed so many times. He was disqualified for 3 years earlier this year on drink driving charge for the second time. I wouldn't call that the actions of a experienced professional sportsman.

On the playing side he will be 32 when he joins us in decline and signed on a 2 year contract. What other club would have offered him that deal?.

There is a reason why we are being mocked by all and sundry.

No matter what I'll support him like every Hull player but in my opinion it's a poor signing.

he's already 32, he'll be 33 when he starts with us. I'm not bothered about his past, he's mostly been an idiot. It's more the playing side. Leigh fans are glad to see the back of him

All the more reason why I'm puzzled by his signing.

That’s just people, they have different temperaments. You and 2524 are sanguine, Wizeb and Jake are phlegmatic, and Seb and bonnie are downbeat (though I’d like to think they’re taking some consolation in their
moment of stopped-clock vindication).

It has been quite a screeching 180 and people have different tolerances for cognitive dissonance.

In September, you wrote:

He will get this club where they need to be 100% Stay faithful!!

Not everyone can process that all going in the bin and then move on so swiftly to seeing something so different as entering an exciting new period. Be patient with them, it will happen. It is how humanity endures.

That was how i felt at the time, misguided belief clearly but at the time i genuinely believed that some of the new signings would have made the necessary difference to propel us forward, in some cases they have been good signings (our pack IS bigger and stronger than last year, Pele has shown glimpses of his raw potential and EseEse and Ashworth look solid albeit the latter hasn't played much, I got it wrong admittedly so i do certainly recant certain parts of that previous post as clearly it hasn't turned out well in anyway shape or form, what i will say however is i strongly believe we are heading into and already in the early stages of a hugely important and exciting period for this club. We didn't have the wealth we now appear to have last September so are now able to get business done early (Hardaker, Holmes, Briscoe, Asiata already signed on for 2025) with only one of those counting towards the quota spots and likely to see Okunbur, Sao, Carlos leave on top of Hoy and Nu Brown giving us 4 quota spots still to play with and a good chunk of that expected to go on a marquee 7 im excited, we are on the up again whether anyone likes it or not, there's not one fan who can claim otherwise as its not up for debate that a backline of what we will have next year plus a dream team top quality loose man and a marquee 7 with trueman also back fit to further compliment the aforementioned big back isn't HUGELY improved from where we have been past 2 or 3 seasons. Good detective work see you at Old Trafford somewhere down the line squire!
