Yep, as good an appointment as we could have wished for.
Shame he doesn't know what he's letting himself in for. :P

Scott's been a decent player for us, been messed around a bit being asked to cover second row a lot when he's too young/light to play there. It's a short career and if he can get more money and maybe a starting position in the centres in Wakey then good luck to him!

Why doesn't he just get it tattooed on?

Really happy with the appointment of Cartwright but definitely need to be prioritising:

1. Attacking coach - Horne? Cooke? Pryce (was getting rave reviews before stepping back)

2. Strength & Conditioning Coach - Moy, Charles, Wainhouse, Jebson, Armstrong all have the potential to be some of our best academy prospects in a long whilst but do lack considerable size. The. We have Staveley & Balmforth who lack the conditioning.7 players there who realistically could be regulars in our side in 18 months. That’s excluding the rest of the squad who need a good S&C coach as well

Losing Scott is a loss as he would’ve been first choice next year but considering how much wakey are paying him and his injury record. It’s the right choice.

The big question is…. With the potential changes to the quota spots, Carlos wouldn’t be classed as a quota player. If we can’t find a better centre and he doesn’t pick up any more niggles. Would you give him a 1 year deal at the right price. I think I would

Don't know but it must be cheaper.

I'd definitely keep Carlos if he wasn't quota with a salary to reflect that, but I'm unsure on the new quote rules?

He could go down the wig route. Some look pretty authentic. Paul Daniels for example.

Keeping Carlos is a no for me. He's looked decent since coming back into the team but in my opinion his time with us should be up. He's been brilliant for us overall, but his body just isn't up to it now it seems. 2 good performance recently don't make up for the last couple of injury riddled years.

Funnily enough I was in Turkey last week. Home of the transplant. Loads of places doing bogof offers. He could get his teeth done while there as well.
