I don't think he has. Even when he got picked for England after producing the form of his career he was overweight but at least it didn't affect his performances. I don't like to criticise individual players but watching him last week was embarrassing. I've never seen a half back as overweight as him even before the full time days. He must be 3 stone overweight at least.
This is not fat shaming because his job is a professional athlete who should take responsibility for his physique not only for himself but for good of the team.
It frustrates because with the talent he has he should be one of the best half backs in SL.
God knows what Cartwright and the conditioning team think of him. Maybe the only solution is to fine him like they do to footballers even when they are only a few pounds overweight because dropping him doesn't seem to work.
