They might have had talks with him again for 25 but he deffo said he decided to turn Hull down so he could have another go with the Roosters for the 24 season, he’s now been released.

Yeah maybe, would make sense, but yes agree odd signing for 2024.

His and Bryne's are the names that keep getting batted around.

Thought Bateman looks very good for Wire towards the end of the year and would improve our back row massively.

Read an article earlier from Serious About Rugby League, and I have no idea how accurate they tend to be, but basically sounding like Bateman could be in a bit of limbo. West's want rid of him and have now signed May. And Manly would have to get rid of a player to fit Bateman in, which it seems like they're struggling to do.

He may be available. And if we are one of, if not his only choice, then we may be able to get him for a fairly decent price.
