I would expect a win if it was our first 17 for 80 minutes. Absolutely the first half I expect us to be competitive, if not leading, but we will be putting almost a team full of young kids out in the 2nd half whereas Cas will still be just about their main 17.

Winning is important.
Think we should have the prospective first team on the field for most of the game.
Dont see the point of playing the first team in the cup so important they get at least one competitive pre season game

Good to get going again, result isn't important and this is our first game, whilst Cas have already played.

Cas have named an all first team squad, while we have named 7/8 still eligible for the academy, so it might depend on our 2nd half team.

Looking forward to watching rugby again and supporting Westy.

A new era begins.

A win would be a bonus but more importantly we come through unscathed and hopefully see some signs of a decent rugby league side for the first time in a few years. COYH
