My point is that Myler signed Abdull knowing full well his injury record but still gave him a 3 year deal.
Of course any compensation money paid to Abdull doesnt effect fans but it does effect the clubs finances.
Businessmen like our new owners dont get wealthy by throwing money away on high level risks or bad decisions by other staff.
Unlike several others on here i dont spend a lot of time sitting at a keyboard day in day out. My posts on FC are there for all to see but as the new season is upon us no doubt ill have a lot more to say good or bad

Sky sports +. I use Now TV so they're all available, but think it's red button access for regular subscriptions

I don't understand this. Rovers game is on two main channels (at the same time obviously!) while our game is not at all. As the game from France is being covered anyway, why not put it out as the game on SS+. I'm not saying this just because it's our game, I would be thinking this if it was, say, Leeds v Cas.

It's not as if the red & white massive can watch two channels at once, they only have one tv in their new super-expanded enormodome.
Believe that if you don't have a Sky Q box, you have to view our game through the SS app somehow. Still think it is an odd turn of events.

I think SKYs deal only allows them 2 proper live games a round. Our game won't have the usual production and SL will be selling streams for it on SL+. So yeh it's a bit odd but SKY often show the same Football games on Main Event and Football.

And yes you can't watch 'red button' games on SKY Go, has to be the different SKY Sports App. I almost miss the days of setting a VHS to tape

Have the full squad really travelled? Not seen Kemp or Westerman out of the 21 man squad and only seen Holmes who’s not in it.

It would be immensely foolish to not take players named in the 21, as if there is a bug in camp, they're the ones who can be played, nobody else can be called up
