Decorated? Have they won medals for bravery or something?
No, but there’s levels to it the way he goes way over the top just defies logic there’s no wonder people question if he’s either a Rovers fan on a wind up or has a personal vendetta against certain players.
Nobody claims either of them are world class but Chamberlain has played on the wing, centre and back row at SL level and looked decent in a good side for a long period when Leutele was injured, he’s hardly the slowest player in the league or whatever he calls him he looks quite quick. Holmes has been a consistently solid player for years. Loads of people have questioned the wisdom in signing them myself included, it just seems way over the top with that particular poster IMO at times.

holmes missed most of last season injured and, lo and behold, is injured again. I doubt we'll get more thank half a dozen games out of him. Sounds like his knee is knackered.
chamberlain is just a low quality SL signing. He was a back up at leigh but seemingly first choice here. Not a bad squad signing but as a first choice centre it's hardly inspiring, especially with only one really good 2nd rower in the squad (who is constantly injured).
I doubt bonaire is a dobbin, he's too persistent. Most would have got bored of it long before now. If we keep wiining and he's not around then maybe you're right

Myler says we offered a transfer fee for Cross, I think the club know we need a better centre but it’s finding one available.
Holmes might turn out to be a poor signing if he decent get on the field often, but we signed 10 or 11 players in one window bound to be a couple that don’t work out, not many Hull fans won’t think we are at least somewhat heading in the right direction on and off the field, if not 100% perfect.
It’s just the constant slagging of players and then using said players to have a pop at ‘Richie Rich’ constantly, that rings alarm bells, again that seems like some sort of personal ventetta or an act. I know some right glass half empty merchants but most seem a little bit happier since Myler has come in. You’d honestly think no DOR at any club has ever made a dud signing before.
I know we're not paying Holmes to be a cheer leader, but the fact Cartwright took him across to the Catalans game says a lot about Holmes' influence on the squad or visa versa. The injuries are a concern, but as has been said plenty of times it's how these older players are influencing those around them 7 days a week, not just for 80 minutes on game day.
I would just like to apologise if I have contributed to squabbling/goading that Chris mentioned.
It is important to remember that this is a public forum for everyone to share their views and we're not always going to agree with those views. The world would be a boring place if we always agreed on everything all the time and it's often different viewpoints that make for the more interesting discussions that can take place. That's not just amongst us FC fans but fans of RL in general. I personally find it quite interesting when fans of other clubs join in the discussions, getting an outside opinion on FC matters.
So we should be respectful of others rights to post their views. That said, people do need to think more about what they post (not just on here but on social media in general) IMO as it's one thing having the right to express your views but another when you use that right to merely troll and get a bite off people. There's also a fine line of being critical and, to use DSJ1983's terms, slag off and have a pop at others. That line does seem to get crossed far too often and tends to generate certain kind of responses in the same ways as trolling and fishing does. Again, that's not specifically aimed at here but at social media overall.
So a bit more thought into what is being posted and how it is responded to needed all round I think.

I thought this too. I think that's also one of the reasons we have been willing to take a risk with certain players given their injury statuses. Because we know they are bringing more to the club than just what will be on the field. They seem to have prioritised attitude and character with the signings.

What is this internet you talk about, is it a new fangled thingymajig? Isn't this the letters page of a newspaper/magazine?
Seriously though, yes I know here isn't as bad as elsewhere (that's why I referenced social media in general) but I do think that what we have been seeing on here recently is part of a systemic problem across all platforms.

We all have different filters but I don't really see anything in here I'd class as properly offensive, unless you include accusing people of being rovers supporters if they're not, which is something which has been levelled at me, Disgusting behaviour now I think about it. They should be banned
