| Got my tickets this morning, looking forward to a Saturday afternoon trip out to Cheshire, been a while since I was last there so looking forward to it.
Tough game, we will do well to come away with the spoils. I wasn't overly impressed with Warrington yesterday, thought they made heavy weather of dispatching what looks like a very average Saints outfit. But they have some big game players who can turn any game in an instant, they just don't seem to be quite clicking as a solid unit at the moment, maybe they're saving that for Wembley!!!!
If we go there with attitude and energy, continuing what we've witnessed from them so far, then I don't think too many of us on here will bag them, even if we lose. It would be a big bonus two points if we do steal it.
On the question of Pryce, I'm in two minds. Cust and Sezer had struck up a decent partnership in the first few games, and part of me thinks we should continue with that, put Pryce to full-back (giving him space to chime into the line, playing a heads-up game) until such time he has been fully integrated into the side (hopefully with a few weeks sessions behind him). Thought he looked a little like a fish out of water at half-back on Saturday, unsure where to go and what to do. The one big break he made, late first-half, was an off the cuff moment which nearly brought a spectacular reward.
On the other hand, as others have said, we brought Pryce in as a 6, Rapana at FB and Cust as interchange hooker/half, so maybe we should go with what we intended. I can see the argument for that as well. It's a good job it's JC making these calls and not me, I'd be tying myself in knots over this one!! At the very least, it gives us options to play with across the back division, even allowing for a re-jig mid game if JC feels he needs to inject a change somewhere. I can see Pryce playing both 1 & 6 over the coming weeks, especially if our usual injury woes continue to bite.
If we get anything out of the next 2/3 weeks, it'll be a nice bonus. We're doing ok so far, let's hope we continue to see progress. Onwards and upwards as we say!!

| Ellam:
Rapana not got the engine at 1 for me, He'd be one of my centres with Hardaker the other.
trouble is nothing happens at full back if Moy plays apart from his usual couple of errors from a high ballnever seen him break the line or produce a scoring pass. if we move Rapana to centre then Litten to full back is a better option although he does look lazy when played there

| Injuries aside, we need as much consistency in positions as possible. That inconsistency contributed to our poor form in recent seasons. You need partnerships all over the park, centres and wingers for example.
I’d keep Rapana at FB, Pryce at 6, Cust to 14.
When we get chance, I’d let Moy and Charles go out on loan. They’ve both had a tough SL baptism over the past year. They need to go and play in the Championship for a while and learn their trade being a bigger fish in a smaller pond.
Tough games coming up. We’ll be underdogs v Warrington, Rovers and Wigan in the coming weeks. If we can put our best performance together, we can win at least one of these games. Main thing is we compete and keep developing as a team to allow us to stay in the mix for the plays offs.

| Just shows how ridiculous and unbalanced the loop fixtures are, we're playing Wigan for the 2nd time in about 8 weeks but haven't even played Salford or Leeds yet. The sooner they do away with loop fixtures the better.

| I wonder if we maybe start Cust at 9 rather than Bourouh. Now we have Pryce at 6 would like to see how we go spelling our hookers, plus means Amir isn't doing full 80 again.
I would also maybe start Ese'ese and have Knight on the bench. I know having them together was effective but when they were both go off we didn't look so good in the middle
On the FB debate, I feel that Hardaker might be the best option but he is also our best option at centre so not sure, at least we have options 1 - 5 unlike the back row
