Not in the slightest bit disappointing after all the talk of jamie lyon and other top quality centres :LIAR:

Still, at 33 I doubt he's lost any of the pace that dazzled us in his spells at crusaders and wakefield

We'll sell 1000's of passes on the back of this one signing

The excitement and anticipation of the new season have become unbearable since allam was knocked back in his bid for the kc

Naturally, as he will be wearing a Hull FC shirt next year, he will get my full support but without wishing to be disrespectful to him I hope he is an "option" at right centre and not "the" right centre. I was hoping for someone younger and with a higher profile.

Just a stop gap until something better becomes available next year and leaves a quota spot open if obst leaves

Would rather give Turner or Crooks a go, than sign Martin.

Waste of an overseas spot, IMO.

He's exempt... but still a confusing choice imo.

Disappointing to say the least. Was he really the best option available?

His record over the last four seasons in SL is

2011 P24 T9
2010 P16 T5
2009 P18 T7
2008 P15 T3

Gets my support but the signing hardly gets the pulse racing.

Re: Tony Martin : Fri Oct 07, 2011 5:49 am
Terrible signing.

Total average overseas player.

Would have rather played Turner, Whiting or Crookes.

Very disapointted in the signing of a 33 old Auusie journey man.

Ok so he is off quota, but then we will signing another overseas player meaning we have more than last season.

Can't think of anything positive about this signing at all.

Who is making these decisons Mcrae or Gentle.
