I have two old badges you can have. unfortunately i dont know how to put the pictures on here. One is round with Airlie bird stood on a rugby ball with the words around the edge "HULL R.L.F.C. THE AIRLIE BIRDS.
The second one is in the shape of a shield it is a blackk background with a white shield with 3 white crowns in th centre and above the crowns it has HULL and at the bottom of the shield R.L.F.C.

The badge with 3 crowns IS the old style eg the one we wore up to 1981. That seems good enough for me.

The silly one with the rose, bridge, crowns and stripes on a quartered shield only lasted 1981 to 1999, so I would rather go with the proper badge (like we have now !)

Shouldn't that be 1996? Since we had our fishy friend as a badge for 97-99?!
