I got the impression that his plans at KR didn't receive the financial backing he wanted. I'd assume that meant around the academy and development which is the one thing we actually seem good on right now.

Smith would be my first choice TBH. Just think he’d be a good fit for what we need.

People say about clashing with AP, but the personalities might actually gel. Might be the sort of character that Pearson has needed for some time now.

I've never heard of any coach falling out with Pearson, think he had a good relationship with both Radford and Hodgson and ideally he would have kept them both.

You’re right actually. Too loyal if anything thinking about it.

The perception about AP comes from people outside the club.
