) but I think here is a bloke who has left us and improved a lot and indeed shared the dug out for the England team as an assistant and I think that providing its not Grix he is with it will work admirably. The way that Myler operates I don't rule on Grixy not being paid off next. Who in their right mind in Lasts position after the cr*p he got last time from the fans would come back unless he was totally dedicated to the task and had a point to prove?

I too think Grix is on borrowed time, in fairness taking over this basket case mid season was challenging to say the least but think we need a clean broom now he's tarnished with this disaster of a season

McBanana is getting the bullet and is heading to Huddersfield if he can pass a competency test. Last has been told he can leave with him. Both lost the dressing room and Tomkins is behind the demise.

Personally think the talk of Grix being at the club next year is all just a load of crap to keep him happy and focused while he's in still in charge until the end of the season. Once the season concludes I'm fully expecting him to be told he's no longer in the clubs plans moving forward and a settlement to be agreed.

Think Grix will end up leaving. I know he's been left a real mess, but it's never looked like he wanted to be here. Shame we can't get Briers as well, given his Hull connection, but he'll no doubt end up at Saints where he'll be head coach in waiting.

I’m not going to get into a debate about how good he is or isn’t on the training field as very few fans will really know the ins and outs of it and what if any influence the assistant coach has. Personally I don’t think it’s all that important some will disagree massively, I’d never make a big deal of it either way. As long as you have good players and a good culture in general I’m sure Lasty fits into a good culture. I do like the idea of having good ‘clubmen’ around the place. Right or wrongly a few ex players recently have stuck the boot into our support, be nice to have one of our own in a decent position at the club.

If the coach is being removed then im all for the assistant to go too.
Dont get this promotion of the assistant coach in rugby or football if the manager or coach gets the sack
