I agree, but Griffin is an athlete i wont say professional because he isnt based on his last performances and the rumour he told Hodgson to F off in training.
If the club cant move him on or as you say look at a swap deal then you make it plain that he is no longer part of the clubs plans.
So if he wants to sit out his contract with a season in the stands and given the odd game in the reserves then thats up to him but given those circumstances i am certain he would try and find another club.

How sad you are. It must be hard living off past glories. Making fun of others when your team is in its worst state since the powers that be saved you from oblivion with a merger with Gateshead. Things can get worse.,For the past two years your final position has been below us. Maybe not by much but the situation is obviously hurting.
