| Didn't bother with it last night. Instead I was watching The Apprentice. A load of headless chickens running around with no clear plan and lacking leadership making themselves look bad on national TV.
Tonight I'm watching us.

We are going to see a lot of 12 v13 this season and probably bigger scores once the pitches firm up .
Not really the out come for a tough and compelling game between two good sides we all want to see .

| One thing I will credit the ref for last night was for a couple of tries he quickly consulted with his touch judges and then just awarded the try, it annoys me when they go for a 5min video ref review just for the sake of it.
As for Rovers they unforunately look good but i'll reserve judgement til theyve played one of the top teams before worrying too much. Leeds look very mid table with only a bit of magic from Croft lifting them above the bottom teams.

| Was my first time watching the coverage on Sky this year and was pleasantly surprised with how fresh it feels. Little things like the graphics go a long way to improving the product.

| Thought rovers deserved the win last night over what looks like a fairly average Leeds side. Once rovers levelled at 6-6 after around 30 minutes, there only looked like one winner, only Handley's wonder try kept Leeds in with a shout.
One thing that puzzled me though, watching last night, were was this supposed 'white-hot' atmosphere that we're always told about? For the first 70 minutes it was as noisy as a library full of pensioners! The only time the crowd seemed to wake up was when rovers went 10pts in front to effectively secure the win. At that point we had a brief chorus of the erasure song before they all toddled off home.
To think people say there's no atmosphere at our place, at least we have an excuse to be sat there feeling despondent. I can only assume they must have been quiet last night after having one too many burgers or kebabs pre-game at the Hull Fair end!!

| Glad Rohan Smith has mentioned the number of players (and fans) throwing their arms in the air appealing for penalties.
It’s getting ridiculous. Would have been laughed at in the 70’s and 80’s.
Grow a pair and get on with the game.

Rovers adopted "a little respect" as their 2015 cup final song.
I always find it surprising that they still sing it with such gusto. I suppose time is a great healer.

I think he has a point in general, but needs to look at his own house. Every single time James Donaldson takes a drive with his low centre of gravity and almost head first approach every Leeds player stands asking for penalties. Unfortunately every team will try and do this now due to the interpretation of the rules. I’d like to see people penalised for asking for penalties similar to footballers getting yellow cards for asking for yellow cards.

They lost another song they liked to sing in 2016...

| Good effort from London getting over 5k for their first home game, hopefully they can keep attendances high throughout the season but might be hard to do if they keep getting beaten at home - might get their first win on 11 May.
