The guy think he knows everything, last season he thought he was a Physio, now he is a top class rugby scout.
The fact he wanted Shaul at hooker says it all, Shauls biggest weakness is his passing, so lets put him at hooker.
He never says anything positive about the club, even after a good win and can his new thing is to attack some of the older people on this forum because of their age.

| Quote bonaire="bonaire"Gildart is a step above what we have as centres and has the advantage of real pace which we all know we desperately need at the club.
Thats why to even think about signing SKD who wouldnt win a footrace with Taylor as a first choice wing is a joke particularly as he would use up a quota space.'"
I agree, not a bad player and if needed a Centre I'd be looking at him, but quite happy with our two , Sutcliffe looks good and Carlos seems to be getting back to his best, not sure Gildart is much faster than either of them. Will demand a big salary too, think we have other priorities.

| Gildart is a decent larker and would be a good addition to any SL club.

May well be, but I think our priorities are in the pack.

| Slight positive might be Sam Walker has been offered to the Dolphins.
A lot of people are adamant Clifford’s on his way there. If they sign walker they wouldn’t need him

Don't get the Roosters letting him go

| I find it funny reading some of the posts on here, Twitter and FB about people we are linked with, people we are rumoured to be signing, players we have missed out on. We are probably around 3 months late to hearing about anything to do with players. The club will have known about Satae and probably have contingencies in place. They are not nieve to think that Laidlaw can replace Satae, they will know we need similar.

All I know is Wigan fans are not very complimentary about him and are very happy they are not trying to get him back.
He may end up doing a good job for them but I wouldn’t be building him up as something special or a “Dolphins star”.

When I've seen him linked with the likes of Leeds, Warrington and Wigan, majority of fans don't want him, think it's a bit unfair to be honest as he is a good SL player. Just not what we need right now.

| Hopefully we can keep Swift, the other wing I wouldn't recruit for, as we have a few young wingers coming through (Martin, Barron, MW) and could play Litten there. Plus the likes of Mcintosh and probably Wood.
Martin IMO looks top class and reminds me of a taller Briscoe, will be 19 by the start of next season, needs to be given a chance like Litten.
Even if we lose Swift, I'd only recruit a winger after the pack is sorted.

You only have to look at Wire this season to see what a good pack can do with an average back 4.

Exactly, although to be fair I rate both there wingers, centres are average though, Wrench will be a cracking player though and they will sign a good NRL centre for next year.
Jake Thelwis (or Josh, the older) reminds me of Litten, a full back but has played the majority of his games on the wing, which I think is what Litten will do the next 18 months.
