Would it be worth us using a quota spot on a hooker, letting Dwyer go and keeping Houghton for one more year whilst Balmforth develops?

I just hope that whilst Smith makes decisions on the existing squad, we aren't dropping a ball by not chasing potential replacements. For example, Leeming being linked with Catalans whilst we decide on Mint or Balmforth.

I'd use a quota spot on a 9. Looks like we've missed out on Leeming anyway.

Sign an overseas 9 and take a punt on a lower league one. Think Balmforth is off, Hodgson is the next young one but he's a while off yet.

You know you'll get a few good scoots against the lower teams as they'll fall for the show and go, but not sure if he's what we need if we're to be challenging at the top of the table

As good as he's been recently, it's time for Mint to retire and Balmforth won't be here next season.

Must be a really decent no.9 running round the NSW cup we can pick up?

Like Dwyer, but wouldn’t get into a bidding war.
Would like us to get a Danny Levi / Nathan Peats type hooker.

Had a quick look, only ones that stand out are Jake Turpin and my fave Jayden Berrell God knows how he hasn't got a look in the NRL recently.
