In terms of how you measure success, looking again from the point of view of an Aussie coming over you'd look at how the two clubs have performed over the last few years... I'm 99.9% sure you wouldn't care less about what community work the club is doing or what operating profit they were making (as long as you were sure you'd get paid).
Like I say if you had used Wigan or Warrington as your measuring tool then fair enough but I dont see what more Rovers have to offer then Hull.
As things stand both clubs are fairly equal on the pitch and neither are the bookies favourites for silverware (although Hull are better odds then KR for next year
)
Willie Mason has been signed to make some money for KR - put bums on seats and good luck to them he is an exciting player.
Both coaches have a bit to prove next year if both boards have any ambition.
