with the overseas spot going on a outside back what realistic english players could we get for the backrow, ideally the likes of patrick, watts, whitehead would be good signings yougn english players but with these players all contracted im sure it would take big transfer offers.
i highly highly doubt the likes of jennings, lyon ect are going to come over these are top players that can earn huge more money by playing in the nrl but you never know lol.

If I recall correctly, Mcrae said that there will be 2 possibly 3 signings with Lynch.

I wonder if the 2nd signing could be a marquee signing, which imo would bring the end of our transfer activity.

If for whatever reason the marguee signing can't be made i reckon we will at a 2nd and 3rd player will he signed probably of the overly hyped type player.

OK....I was indeed convinced ( I was in a very excited state!!), until I read reports he tells fans of most clubs he is signing for them then I realised it was probably a wind-up, although interestingly it has still not being denied.
I will stop being defensive when certain posters stop being d1cks....which will probably be never

Then perhaps you should be a little more selective about who you are defensive with. If I want to argue about nothing with an irrational woman, I've got ample opportunity away from here. I come on here to talk about rugby (mostly).

Horney has had a decent season IMO. And he plays better with an organising 7, which we have signed 2 of for next season.

We are, and have been desperate for, a right centre for many years. We were also desperate for forwards with Lauaki and Fitz leaving. We have signed Lynch and O'Carroll, hopefully A.N.Other on the way.

I can see us signing a top 6 in the next off season, until then I will be happy with with Horne, Ellis, Seymour and Nicklas in the halves.
