I only have the one account. Mrs B has not replied since I challenged her to show otherwise. You are like lemmings someone accused me without foundation of having more that one account. Gullible folk like you joined in the chorus. Banter is ok if FC fans are dishing it out but when the high and mighty are having a few bad seasons it turns out to be seen as bad form and unacceptable that the boot is on the other foot. You really must try and accept your present position and the fact that you club would seem not to be an attractive option at the moment.
I’m sure things will change as it always does in sport but you at the moment are no where near being an elite club
. The sooner you learn to accept that the happier you will be.

The last time Rovers where an elite club I remember you had a perm, 'tash and wore a shell suit.

Calm down Calm down Keith.

Re: Shopping list for 2024 : Mon May 15, 2023 2:08 pm
I cannot believe that we can't produce a talented hooker from our academy. Over the years, that was a position our city excelled in producing, Flash Flanagan, & David Watkinson (York I think) spring to mind even relatively recently, when you recall the likes of Lee Jackson, Josh Hodgson (albeit a fledgling with us), Danny Houghton and now Jez Litten . Shame we let Mikey Lewis go to Rovers, I think he'd make a great nine, in the great Rob Borrows mould. RL is really struggling for quality at present, across the board. I watched Wigan v Leeds and, while it was entertaining, the actual standard of rugby was really poor. There seems to be a shrinking talent pool and we need to consider the Championship as an option for developing some talent. There are players there, some will be good enough and our scouts need to be scouring that league, and the amateur scene, for talent that has potential , if our academy players aren't up to scratch. It is worth remembering we plucked Danny Brough from that division and he turned out to be an outstanding talent, so there are players that can make it, even if they go like Danny Langtree, its not a huge investment and can pay dividends.

How do you know?
Lets face it most young players from the UK who go and play in Australia enhance their game and some become stars.
My opinion is Simm will make a very good S/L player if and when he returns.
Good size and most important for an outside back or centre he has pace.

Not quite panic stations just yet. I'm more disappointed if we've missed out on Trout.

I'd rather us not pay overs or sign players on longer deals.

Why would someone sign for Hull FC unless you were paying overs or offering long deals?
