Precisely my point. He's comfortably the best prop we have, and one of the best in SL. He's just in a bit of bad form playing injured.

Tickle got similar things said when it looked like he might leave, but he's one of the key players in our side and should be looking at being given the captaincy next season.

Players not wanting to play for Hull FC is an indicator of something wrong with the club, so whilst no player is bigger than the club, they may well be symptoms of something that is (or as big at least).

Never said he was a villain but if he wants to go because Agar is leaving then so be it and sod him. He's a good player but not that awesome that we need worry if he went. Im sure theres a fair few equal quality quota players that we could get instead of him tbh.

My issue is not with O'Meley's ability although he has hit poor form I think he still has a lot to offer, however for me if any player does not want to play for my team they can go find a team they want to play for imo, I would sooner watch players who want to play for us.

At this stage I very much doubt that, and I certainly don't see us as a prime contender to attract any that are on the market.

That sounds like a mentality similar to Kath's for the youngsters, where players should feel honoured just to be at Hull FC. I want to see the best possible players play for Hull FC, so to that end we need to be an attractive proposition for them. You need to make players want to play for you, not just demand it and expect them to acquiesce. Taking that approach will just result in a bunch of useless fat blokes who should be in the stands making up the 17. They'll be passionate, but I wouldn't pay 10 pence to watch them.

I hope so, but we need 2 more on top of what we've got IMO, not instead of our best one.
