FTFY Since the cost of season passes has increased considerably since 2010 and we no longer offer a CC match in that pass nor do we offer free away entrance to juniors how much is the income from fans through the door 2010 year on year to 2015? Certainly not a 30% differential! Much of the losses are down to Pearson's ineptitude but then you can't even see it nor would admit it if it slapped you in the chops!
See my reply to the other one, with the following enhancements. I never said pass receipts were down 30%. Clearly there are fewer walk ups now which are typically higher price per ticket. Those missing 4000 or whatever the number is. That translates to lower merchandise sales, lower hospitality revenue etc. The SMC aren't looking to do us any favours.
Of course this is of Pearson's making, or at least via poor choices he's had a major impact. Where have I said otherwise. But we can mither about the past or take stock of what we have and decide what we want to do as members of the club. Support it with reservations about its leadership and strategy, or cancel our membership.
The club has lost £1.5m since 2010. The user agreement is becoming increasingly challenging. Average gates in 2010 were 14,000, so are down around 30%with commensurate reductions in sponsorship. Call it bleating if you like, but don't imply there's no financial difficulty here, or claim you weren't given notice of it.
It is bleating and it's boring. Neither you or I know what the drop in income is, any more than we know what the drop in costs is over the same period but I do remember you telling us a while back that we only made a small operating loss in 2014. Crowds aren't significantly down since then but we seem to have shed a fair amount of cost in salaries so I'd assume it's reasonable to expect a no dissimilar financial performance for 2015.
Maybe you can give your professional view on the additional savings being made on the academy and the increase in SKY income for 2015 or doesn't your myopia allow you to bring any balance to your posts?
YOU HAVE ALL BEEN WARNED!!! THE END OF THE WORLD IS NIGH!!!! BUY YOUR HULL FC SEASON TICKET TO SAVE MANKIND!!!!
Its a load of rubbish MRS B , he's got you hook line and sinker. We are all Hull fans and we are all going to continue putting our money into the club, you or pearson have nothing to worry about
We're OK chaps. The three wise men have decreed that the club do not have financial issues, despite the obvious cost cutting that's going on. I can sleep easy now.
In terms of the "Hull Fc" brand, it is very damaging to say that you are in financial difficulty. This would be a particularly risky move if it wasnt true, a key problem would be that you might struggle to attract sponsors who wouldnt want to be associated with a sinking ship.
I doubt that any owner of a business with a noticeable brand would lie about financial insecurity for a potential gain - it just doesnt work that way.

I don't think any of them have decreed that at all, they've simply disagreed with Mrs 'know it all' and oh i see they've disagreed with her hence why you're now posting, i get it now.

But but but, it's ALL SOMEONE ELSE'S FAULT!
People not buying passes to watch overpaid dross with no attacking flair, sponsors not shelling out because the match day experience is poor and the owner, as it turns out, doesn't really give a toss about anyone but himself.
In an ideal world someone would buy City, FC and the SMC and be a very quiet, sit in the background and invest in experts owner.

Completely understand what your saying, its a good post. But I don't think its what Pearson as done, what people get sick of, is him implying that he as financial problems, followed by talk of season passes etc. Don't get me wrong, I do actually appreciate what Pearson as put into Hull fc, and continues to do. And I will continue to support. Just getting a bit tired of him and the ways he goes about things. And he does bring a lot of it on himself IE His stupid blind faith in Radford (Apologies to those who think ive just turned this into another Radford BASHING thread)
I'll continue my support of Hull fc and so will most! I don't need guilt tripping into supporting the club by Pearson and Mrs B
Reading what Mrs B is actually saying for a moment...
She's not saying Pearson is blameless for that the situation the club finds itself in, or that this is somehow the fans' fault.
She's saying that whatever has gone on in the past, whatever errors or fk ups that have been made, the club is where it is, which financially isn't looking too pretty. Her view is that it's more beneficial to the club to back it and support it and ensure that the club have the funds to compete, than it is to withdraw your money and support. Nobody is being told what to do with their money and time, that's their prerogative.
My view is that the club finds itself in this position partly due to Pearson and partly due to the old regime. Basically for the last 8 years or so there's been a string of dire decisions. The general fan apathy started all the way back during the Agar years after 2005-6 looked so promising. Our youth system pretty much dried up from under investment under the old regime. Pearson has made some massive errors with recruitment, he's been arrogant, mouthy and taken some really bad advice. All this has contributed to the situation and here we are.
We're all disappointed, we know we should have seen a lot more success of the back of 2005 & 2006, and we know we should be in a much better situation than we are at the moment. But, I think it's always better to look forwards than it is to look backwards.
